Please Note:

The building can no longer be used for fundraising events as it had is the past. The first (12) concerts, bake sales and leases from (7) businesses sustained the building, paid the taxes and helped with the refurbishing. Only outside help will save the center. Our goal is to reach the needs of the borough in order to open the center again to the public.

 

Anybody having additional ideas for fundraising, please send us your idea. If you would like to join the fundraising committee or start a group, that would also be appreciated. We currently have a group organizing golf tournaments. Successfully maintaining and running a center as large as the Cooper is taking $20,000+ a year to accomplish. The building can not financially support itself. Thanks for the community support in overcoming this obstacle.

J.W. Cooper Community Center, Inc. was incorporated in 2013, accepted organizational by-laws and completed the profile according to state requirements. The Center also attained its 501c3 non-profit status on February 12, 2014 effective 8-19-2013.
