Beverly Mattson Memorial Food Bank
New Spring Initiative
The Beverly Mattson Memorial Food Bank has served Schuylkill and Berks County since 2012. Established by the J.W. Cooper Community Center, the Non-Profit (501c3) continues to revitalize older structures to benefit the community and surrounding areas.
"School is out forever" at The "Coop". The building was demolished in April 2024 and the lot will serve another community purpose.
We thank all who volunteered and visited over the years.
This website will continue to exist for those who want to share their stories and pictures.
We encourage you to support our social media channels also.

Driving Directions
From Interstate 81 take Frackville exit (61 N) onto Main Street of Frackville. Stay straight on Route 61N as it turns into 924. Shenandoah is about 3 miles from that point. Turn right on Center Street (Route 54) and left on White Street. The Center will be on the right.
